City of Brookfield

THEFT

1Two bottles of vodka were taken from Pick 'n Save, 17295 W. Capitol Drive, on May 7. The theft was reported May 11, and store security officers identified the thief out of a photo array. It was a 31-year-old man believed to be involved in other recent thefts.

2Two women, 19 and 22, were arrested for retail theft at Sears, 115 S. Moorland Road, about 5 p.m. May 7.

3A 58-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft at Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, at 5:26 p.m. May 7.

4A man hid vodka and wine in his jacket and left Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, at 3:38 p.m. May 9. The man was identified as a 31-year-old repeat offender, responsible for at least five thefts of alcohol in the last two weeks.

5A 21-year-old man was arrested for retail theft at Sendik's, 2315 N. 124th St., just before 5 p.m. May 9.

6Two unidentified women and a man reportedly conspired to steal 32 eyeglasses from Pearl Vision, 17550 W. Bluemound Road, just after 7 p.m. May 10. The man distracted store employees while the women made off with thousands of dollars in frames.

7An employee took nearly $2,000 in carbide from Guhring Co., 1455 Commerce Ave., it was reported on May 11.

8A 43-year-old employee at Milwaukee Electric, 13135 W. Lisbon Road, was arrested May 13 for taking tools without permission.

9A 27-year-old Germantown man was arrested for retail theft at Kohl's, 2315 N. 124th St., at 7:17 p.m. May 13.

DRUG POSSESSION

10A 19-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving, marijuana possession, receiving stolen property and driving with a suspended license in the 2100 block of North Calhoun Road just before 7 a.m. May 13.

11A 40-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving and cocaine possession during a traffic stop on Bluemound Road and Main Street at 2:21 a.m. May 14.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

12A 52-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving at North Avenue and Lilly Road just before 3 a.m. May 9.

13A 39-year-old man was cited for drunken driving at Bluemound Road and Elmridge Avenue at 2:11 a.m. May 13.

14A 56-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving at Moorland Road and Interstate 94 at 12:48 a.m. May 14.

OTHER

15A 34-year-old man was cited for possessing drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop at 17000 W. Bluemound Road just before 6 p.m. May 10. Police smelled marijuana in the car and, after the driver consented to a search, officers found a marijuana pipe in the car.

THEFT

16 A concrete saw and an extra blade valued at $933 were stolen from a vehicle parked at Jennifer Drive and Bluemound Road at 9:12 a.m. May 1.

17An unidentified female driver pumped $56.27 worth of gas and drove off without paying at Open Pantry, 21350 W. Capitol Drive at 4:06 p.m. May 4.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

18A 33-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving after he was found parked on the side of the road at Watrertown Court and Watertown Road at 3:02 a.m. May 6. A breathalyzer test showed a blood alcohol content of 0.17.

OTHER

19A 21-year-old man arrested on an unspecified felony drug charge in conjunction with a 10-month investigation by Washington County Sheriff's Department at his residence in the 19000 block of Timberline Drive at 2:42 p.m. May 2.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

20A 43-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving on Moorland Road near Interstate 94 at 8:09 p.m. March 16.

DRUG POSSESSION

21A 21-year-old Delafield man was arrested for possession of a trace amount of marijuana in a grinder, a glass pipe and a glass tube when he was stopped for driving too close behind another vehicle in the 1900 block of East Main Street at 12:18 a.m. March 18.

THEFT

22A man stole $70 worth of cigarettes from Walgreens, 15350 Bluemound Road, at 8:16 p.m. May 7.

DRUG POSSESSION

23A 21-year-old Delafield man was arrested for possession of a trace amount of marijuana in a grinder, a glass pipe and a glass tube when he was stopped for driving too close behind another vehicle in the 1900 block of East Main Street at 12:18 a.m. March 18.

OTHER

24A 17-year-old Wauwatosa boy was arrested for possession of marijuana, carrying a concealed weapon and underage drinking in the 13300 block of Watertown Plank Road just before 4 a.m. May 12. He had marijuana and a knife in his waist band. A breath test showed he had been drinking alcohol.
