Police Report: June 19

City of Brookfield


1Police were called to the 1300 block of Dover Place the morning of June 12 after a homeowner reported a man broke into his house. The homeowner pulled a gun on the subject and escorted him out of the house.

2Electronic and sports memorabilia were taken from a resident in the 13000 block of Calhoun road overnight June 15. A flat screen TV, laptop and digital camera were taken, as was an Aaron Rodgers signed Green Bay Packers helmet.


3A 29-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft at the Pick 'n Save, 12375 W. Capitol Drive, at 10:30 p.m. June 12. The woman bagged the groceries and walked out of the store without paying.

4A 22-year-old female employee at Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, was arrested for retail theft after admitting to giving fellow associates discounts and free merchandise valued at $622. A report was taken June 13.

5Four diesel particulate filters were taken from four Dodge trucks at Dodge City, 19100 W. Capitol Drive, overnight June 13. Each filter is valued at $8,000. In addition, about $2,000 in damage was done to each truck.

6About $1,000 in costume jewelry was reported stolen from a home in the 1100 block of Calhoun Road on June 14. The homeowner said the jewelry was taken over the last two to three years, possibly by a handyman.

7A 51-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft after concealing more than $200 in groceries in her purse at Metro Market, 17630 W. Bluemound Road, just before 11 a.m. June 15. She made several trips in and out of the store, filling her purse each time.

8A 38-year-old man was arrested for retail theft and narcotics possession at Sendik's Market, 2315 N. 124th St., just after 3 p.m. June 15.

9Two girls, ages 15 and 16, were arrested for theft and possession of drug paraphernalia at JC Penny at Brookfield Square, 95 N. Moorland Road, June 15.

10An 18-year-old man was arrested for retail theft at Kohl's, 2315 N. 124th St., June 17.

11Two men were arrested after they were suspected for stealing from Pick 'n Save, 12375 W. Capitol Drive, at 1:22 p.m. June 18. They were charged with battery, retail theft and trespassing after stealing almost $180 worth of merchandise.


12A 17-year-old boy was arrested for drug possession with intent to deliver at Brookfield and Davidson roads at 5:43 p.m. June 12.


13A 35-year-old man was arrested drunken driving in the 19000 block of West Lisbon Road just before 2 a.m. June 13. His 27-year-old female passenger was arrested on a Kenosha Police Department warrant.

14A 56-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving after being stopped on Calhoun Road at Judith Lane at 4:24 a.m. June 13.

15A 53-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving after she fell asleep at a red light, then deviated from her lane at Bluemound and Sunnyslope roads just before 4 p.m. June 15.

16A 54-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving at Bluemound Road and Rosedale Drive at 12:17 a.m. June 16.


17A 28-year-old man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 13000 block of President Avenue just after 9:30 p.m. June 12.

Town of Brookfield

There were no reportable incidents released this week.

Elm Grove


18A 62-year-old Elm Grove woman was arrested for drunken driving after her car crashed into a light pole in the 13400 block of Watertown Plank Road just before 5 p.m. June 13. The woman drove away from the scene. She was arrested at her Elm Grove home.


19A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for marijuana possession following a traffic stop at Bluemound Road and Eastmoor Avenue at 1:14 a.m. June 13.

20A 25-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested of marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop for a broken headlamp on Bluemound and Elm Grove roads at 1:39 a.m. June 15.

21A 22-year-old Wauwatosa man and a 19-year-old Colgate woman were arrested of marijuana possession following a traffic stop on Elm Grove Road and Morningside Lane at 11:20 p.m. June 15.


22A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drugged driving after he was stopped in the 13800 block of Bluemound Road at 2:20 a.m. June 16. Police asked the man if he had any marijuana, at which time the driver gave the officer a rolled marijuana joint.
