City of Brookfield

THEFT

1Three women in their 20s reportedly stole 20 items from Victoria's Secret, 95 N. Moorland Road, around noon July 18. One of the women distracted the employees at the register with a bogus return while the two other women took 15 bras and 5 pairs of underwear from the store without paying.

2Two men and a woman took a cart full of Red Bull without paying from Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, around 3:50 p.m. July 18.

3A witness saw a man put a bottle of vodka in his pants and leave the store without paying at Grasch Foods, 13950 W. North Ave., at 5:16 p.m. July 18.

4Two juvenile girls were arrested for retail theft at Kohl's Department Store, 2315 N. 124th St., at 9:23 p.m. July 18. One of the girls was also arrested for drug paraphernalia.

5A GPS and a wallet were taken out of a car in the 300 block of Manor Court overnight July 18. The total loss was valued at almost $400. Credit cards from the wallet were recovered by a jogger in the neighborhood.

6A 31-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft at Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, July 19.

7Two juvenile females were arrested for retail theft at JC Penny, 95 N. Moorland Road, around 6:50 p.m. July 19.

8A 23-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft at Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, at 8:25 p.m. July 19.

9More than $90 in stolen steaks were recovered from a car at Pick 'n Save, 17295 W. Capitol Drive, just after 9 a.m. July 20. The report didn't say if the owner of the vehicle was a suspect or if any arrest had been made.

10A 28-year-old woman was arrested for state retail theft at JC Penny just after 2 p.m. July 20.

11A 20-year-old woman was arrested for state retail theft and obstruction for running away from loss prevention staff at Kohls, 2315 N. 124th St., around 2:30 p.m. July 20.

12A manager realized that nearly $140 in seafood had been stolen by a man over several days from Sendik's, 18925 W Capitol Drive. The loss was reported July 21.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

13A 25-year-old was arrested for drunken driving after a witness called police on the driver and her male passenger. According to witnesses, the two were "fooling around" in a parking lot of the 17000 block of Bluemound Road around 2 a.m. July 20. The woman was reportedly not wearing any clothes at the time. When police caught up to the car, the driver was determined to be intoxicated. The report did not mention if the driver was wearing clothes at the time of the traffic stop.

14A 21-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving on Calhoun Road at St. James Road just before 2 a.m. July 22.

15A 23-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving at Capitol Drive and Pilgrim Road around 2:40 a.m. July 24. The driver's initial breath test revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.11.

16A 22-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, in the 400 block of Brookfield Road around 2:20 a.m. July 24.

BURGLARY

17 Unknown subjects entered the U.S. Cellular kiosk overnight July 22 and stole two phones and a wireless hot spot worth about a total of $1,750.

OTHER

18A 22-year-old woman was arrested with five outstanding warrants in Menomonee Falls and Waukesha. Three of the outstanding counts are for forgery and five are for unlawful use of a credit card.

DRUG POSSESSION

19A 20-year-old man overdosed on heroin in the 3000 block of Fiebrantz Drive around 9:40 p.m. July 23. He was arrested for drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also taken into custody on a mental commitment.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

20A 56-year-old Hales Corners woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 18000 block of West Bluemound Road just before 2 a.m. July 15. Police noticed her car parked between the parking lot and road construction as if she'd lost control of her car. A preliminary breath test revealed a BAC of 0.351

Elm Grove

OTHER

21A 41-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested at the Elm Grove Police Department, 13600 Juneau Boulevard, for outstanding warrants related to a traffic stop. She was at the police department to pick up her daughter who had been previously been detained by Elm Grove Police.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

22A 55-year-old New Berlin man was arrested for drunken driving in the 12000 block of Bluemound Road around 9:30 p.m. July 17. A preliminary breath test revealed a BAC of 0.127

23A man from Floral Park, New York was arrested for drunken driving on Bluemound Road and Park Court just after 1 a.m. July 18.
