City of Brookfield

THEFT

1A woman reported her debit card was taken from Brookfield Central High School, 16900 Gebhardt Road, between Jan. 21 and Jan. 24. It is unknown where the card was taken from in the school. The incident was reported on Jan. 25.

2Between $3,000 to 6,000 worth of jewelry was taken from a home in the 2600 block of Glenmaura Place on Jan. 22. The incident was reported to police at 3:55 p.m. Jan. 24.

3A 38-year-old man was arrested for retail theft at Boston Store, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 3:59 p.m. Jan. 22. The value of the items was not available.

4About $600 worth of merchandise was taken from Victoria's Secret, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 3:35 p.m. Jan. 23. Store employees told police three women took the merchandise and ran.

5A woman left her purse at Boston Store, 95 N. Moorland Road, on Jan. 23. The purse was found by an employee and returned to its owner, minus her wallet, containing several credit cards, on Jan. 24. The cards were used at a gas station in Milwaukee, blocks from where the employee lives. The incident was reported Jan. 24.

6About $500 in bras were taken from Victoria's Secret, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 1:47 p.m. Jan. 24.

7A 25-year-old woman and a 26-year-old woman were arrested for retail theft at JC Penney, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 5:05 p.m. Jan. 24. The value of the items was not available.

8A 53-year-old man was arrested for taking $70 worth of groceries from Metro Market, 17630 W. Bluemound Road at 12:20 p.m. Jan. 25. The man told police he forgot his debit card in the car and took the cart full of groceries with him to go so he could pay for the items.

9Three males took about 21 pairs of jeans worth $50 each from an unnamed store at Brookfield Square Mall, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 12:41 p.m. Jan. 25.

10A woman was seen taking $347 worth of merchandise from Victoria's Secret, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 12:17 p.m. Jan. 26. The woman fled the store and dropped the bags in the mall.

11A 17-year-old girl was cited for retail theft after taking an unknown amount of items from Buckle, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 8:13 p.m. Jan. 26.

12A purse was taken from a cart at Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, at 2:18 p.m. Jan. 27.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

13A 28-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving, third offense, and possession of marijuana at Tremont and Edwards streets at 10:33 p.m. Jan. 25. Her blood alcohol content was not available.

14A 48-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving, fifth offense, after police saw him driving the wrong way at Capitol Drive and Mitchell Park Drive at 11:41 p.m. Jan. 25.

OTHER

15A 10-year-old student at Swanson School, 305 N. Calhoun Road, told a teacher "I will kill you" on Jan. 21. The incident was reported to police at 9:12 a.m. Jan. 22. The student reportedly has been "diagnosed with an emotional problem."

16A 15-year-old boy at Fairview South, 3525 Bermuda Blvd., threatened to "shoot his teachers in the face" on Jan. 23. Police learned of the threat on Jan. 24, the school was put on lockdown as police investigated, and the boy was arrested and the case was referred to the county for disorderly conduct charges.

Police responded to three calls related to domestic disputes last week.

THEFT

17A wallet containing $40 was taken from a purse at Chuck E. Cheese's, 19125 W. Bluemound Road, at 9:05 p.m. Jan. 19.

18An MP3 player worth $400 and a purse worth $200 were taken from a locked vehicle at Majestic Cinemas, 770 Springdale Road, at 11:55 p.m. Jan. 19.

19A briefcase containing alleged $20,000 and a laptop computer valued at $500 was taken from a locked car at Majestic Cinemas, 770 Springdale Road, at 11:55 p.m. Jan. 19.

20A black tote and coffee mug were taken from a locked vehicle parked at Majestic Cinema, 770 Springdale Road, between 5:30 and 9 p.m. Jan. 24.

21A purse containing a check book, driver's license, and several credit cards was taken from a locked vehicle at The Melting Pot, 19850 W. Bluemound Road, at 7:43 p.m. Jan. 24. Two suspects were seen on surveillance video trying to use one of the stolen cards at Kohl's Department Store, 2315 N. 124th St., at 8:47 p.m.

22A stereo of undetermined value, a bag of dirty cloths, and a box of motor oil were taken from a locked vehicle at The Melting Pot, 19850 W. Bluemound Road, at 7:43 p.m. Jan. 24.

DRUG POSSESSION

23A 24-year-old Florida man was arrested for possession of marijuana at La Quinta Hotel, 20391 W. Bluemound Road, at 7:10 p.m. Jan. 26.

OTHER

Police responded to two calls related a domestic disputes last week.

Village of Elm Grove

THEFT

24An 18-year-old Elm Grove man was arrested for theft in the 13000 block of Watertown Plank Road at 1:54 p.m. Jan. 27 after his parents found a bottle of rum worth $20 in his bedroom that the man had taken from a grocery store earlier that day.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

25A 31-year-old West Allis woman was arrested for drunken driving at Bluemound and Moorland roads at 2:30 a.m. Jan. 27. Her BAC was 0.14.
