City of Brookfield


1A 22-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft after hiding items at Burlington Coat Factor, 12575 W. Capitol Drive, around 4:30 p.m. July 24.

2Two women, ages 18 and 22, were arrested in connection with a retail theft at Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, at 8:43 p.m. July 24.

3A computer monitor and keyboard were stolen from the 1100 block of Club Circle sometime overnight July 24. The police report was filed July 25.

4A digital camera was stolen from the 4000 block of North Calhoun Road. A report was taken July 25, but the time of the theft was unknown. The camera was valued at $200.

5A man stole more than $300 in Newport cigarettes from Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, around 3:30 p.m. July 25. The man apparently wedged open the display case and put the cigarettes in his pants in four separate trips.

6A 23-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft at Claire's, 95 N. Moorland Road, just before 5 p.m. July 25.

7Two 16-year-old girls were arrested for retail theft at JC Penny, 95 N. Moorland Road, around 4:30 p.m. July 26.

8An 18-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft Buckle, 95 N. Moorland Road, just after 5:30 p.m. July 26.

9A 17-year-old girl was arrested for retail theft by virtue of being an employee after five apparent illegal transactions at Sears, 115 S. Moorland Road. Police made the arrest July 27, but the report did not specifically mention when the fraudulent transactions were perpetrated, nor did it mention the nature of the illegal acts.


10A 23-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving on Capitol Drive and Calhoun Road around 12:15 a.m. July 29.

11A 53-year-old man was arrested for third offense drunken driving at Moorland Road and Interstate 94 just before 12:23 a.m. July 29.

12A 25-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving in the 1200 block of Moorland Road just before 1 a.m. July 30.

Town of Brookfield


13A 23-year-old Hartland man was arrested for drunken driving on Bluemound and Barker roads after police followed him going more than 60 miles per hour down Bluemound. A breath test found the driver had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.10. The arrest was made just before 1:30 a.m. July 27.


14A 20-year-old Waukesha woman was arrested for obstructing justice and underage drinking at Motel 6, 20300 Bluemound Road, just before 1 a.m. July 24. Police had been called to the room after noise complaints and the girl was found hiding the bathtub. She lied about her birthday before admitting to being underage. A breath test found her BAC to be 0.20

15A 53-year-old Shorewood woman was arrested for shoplifting at Sendik's, 13425 Watertown Plank Road, just before 8 a.m. July 24.


16A 28-year-old Madison man was arrested for drunken driving in the 1100 block of Pilgrim Parkway around 11:45 p.m. July 29.


17A 25-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested on outstanding warrants after being pulled over on Bluemound and Sunnyslope roads around 6:40 a.m. July 26.
