City of Brookfield

THEFT

1A 17 year-old male was arrested after being chased through Brookfield Square, 95 Moorland Road, for stealing a cell phone from a kiosk at 12:49 p.m. March 28.

2A Brookfield man said his prescription of Percocet was taken from his pants while he was being transported to the hospital March 5. According to the police report, his pants were removed during his treatment, although his ailments were not listed. Neither the hospital nor the Fire Department responders reported finding the pills. The report was filed March 28.

3Approximately 100 feet of high-voltage cable valued at $500 was taken from a rental space in the 19000 block of Capitol Drive. The manager of the space reported it missing after the tenant, for whom the cable was installed, moved out. The report was made March 29.

4A "Recall Walker" sign was stolen from the 19000 block of North Avenue overnight March 30. The resident reported this was a common problem.

5A 23-year-old female was arrested at Old Navy at Brookfield Square after she was seen concealing more than 50 items of clothing valued at $810 on March 30.

6A 35-year-old man was arrested for retail theft from Boston Store at Brookfield Square at 8:38 p.m. March 31. The man also was charged with having a theft detection remover. He was taken to Waukesha County Jail on an outstanding warrant in Wauwatosa.

7Staff at Pick 'n Save, 12375 Capitol Drive, called police after a man left the store without paying for a cart full of groceries just after 2 p.m. April 2. There were no loss prevention staff on duty at the time.

8Two females were seen taking 6 pounds of chicken wings from Pick 'n Save at 6:49 p.m. April 2. No arrests were made

DRUNKEN DRIVING

9A 30-year-old Texas man was arrested for drunken driving after being stopped at the Marriot Courtyard, 16865 Bluemound Road, at 2:35 a.m. March 29. He was taken to Waukesha County Jail on a 12-hour hold. No blood alcohol content was included in the report.

10A 50-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving on Capitol Drive and Brookfield Road at 8:39 p.m. March 29. No BAC was listed.

11A 59-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving after witnesses reported him cutting off drivers near Sendik's, 2315 N. 124th St. , at 1:33 p.m. March 30. No BAC was listed.

12A 34-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving on the Bluemound frontage road and Thomas Lane at 2:47 a.m. March 31. No BAC was listed.

13A 26-year-old person was arrested for drunken driving in the 17000 block of Bluemound Road at 2:44 a.m. April 1. No BAC was listed.

14A 27-year-old man was arrested for his second drunken driving violation on Greenfield Avenue and Vista View Drive at 3:23 a.m. April 1. No BAC was listed.

OTHER

15A man accused a convenience store clerk of stealing his winning lottery ticket just before 1 p.m. March 30. The man said the attendant at the BP on Brookfield Road and Capitol Drive paid him just $4 when he deserved more than $100,000 for picking four of the five winning numbers and the extra number. The man had no record of his recorded numbers, nor did he have the ticket to prove he'd picked the correct numbers. No citations were issued.

THEFT

A 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for theft when she refused to pay the remaining $45.60 owed for a previous children's party at Chuck E Cheese's, 19125 W. Bluemound Road, at 6:50 p.m. March 23.

OTHER

A 52-year-old man from Aurora, Ill., was arrested for disorderly conduct after he continuously banged on guests' doors at Motel 6, 20300 W. Bluemound Road, at 9:22 p.m. March 22.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 21-year-old Brookfield woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 14000 block of Bluemound Road at 12:28 a.m. March 27. Police stopped the woman for a defective headlamp. After failing a field breath test, her blood alcohol level tested at 0.11

A 47-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving in the 900 block of Elm Grove Road at 2:13 a.m. April 1.
