City of Brookfield

THEFT

1A 48-year-old woman was cited for retail theft and resisting arrest at Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, at 5:14 p.m. April 11. No details about the stolen items were included in the report.

2As many as 18 computer memory chips were taken from a car in the 16000 block of Prairie Court the night of April 11. Each chip is worth about $20. Damage to the glove box was also reported.

3A fiberglass ladder valued at $200 was taken from the 12000 block of Robin Lane the night of April 11.

4A man in his 30s or 40s was seen stealing at least one carton of cigarettes, valued at $77, from Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, at 12:30 a.m. April 12. The man left the store with the cigarettes hidden under his sweatshirt.

5A ring valued at $5,500 was taken from the jewelry counter at TJ Maxx, 17460 W. Bluemound Road, just before 8 p.m. April 12. The theft is on video, but the theft was not noticed by store employees until after it happened.

6A 44-year-old man was arrested for state retail theft and violating terms of his probation after he was arrested for stealing a bottle of Jack Daniels from the Sendik's, 2315 N. 124th Street, at 4:29 p.m. April 13.

7Three females, ages 21, 18 and 17, were cited for retail theft for taking $200 worth of baby clothes and shoes from Old Navy at Brookfield Square, 95 N. Moreland Road, at 12:45 p.m. April 14.

8Four women led police on a chase across Brookfield and Elm Grove after leaving Kohl's, 2315 N. 124th St., with an unspecified amount of merchandise. Police in both jurisdictions were involved in the pursuit, before ultimately ending the chase to allow Wauwatosa police to handle the case as the car moved to Highway 100. The incident started just before 7 p.m. April 15.

9A woman was arrested for taking items from Sears, 115 S. Moorland Road, about 2 p.m. April 16. When approached by police, it was determined she spoke little English so she was taken to the police department to have a translator aid in the process. She was eventually cited for retail theft and released.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

10A 35-year-old woman was arrested for fourth-offense drunken driving after she was seen striking objects and breaking a gate at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 18255 W. Capitol Drive, just before 7 p.m. April 10. Her blood-alcohol content was not in the report.

11A 55-year-old was arrested for second-offense drunken driving after being stopped in front of Dodge City, 19100 W. Capitol Drive, at 1:34 a.m. April 12. His BAC was not available.

12A 37-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving after he was seen swerving and driving in multiple lanes on Bluemound and Moorland roads at 9:45 p.m. April 13. He was cited and released. His BAC was not reported.

13A 32-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving after police stopped her on Apple Tree Lane and Greenfield Avenue at 2:07 a.m. April 15. She was cited and released. Her BAC was not in the report.

BURGLARY

14Someone cut a hole through a chain link fence at Don & Roy's Motorsports, 17740 W. Bluemound Road, and took a motorcycle between 8 p.m. March 26 and 8:48 a.m. March 27.

DRUG POSSESSION

15An 18-year-old Wauwatosa man who was stopped for driving a vehicle with expired registration and a 17-year-old Waukesha boy who was a passenger were arrested for possession of 3.2 grams of marijuana, a grinder and two glass pipes at Moreland Road and Parklawn Court at 10:03 p.m. April 7.

OTHER

16A 42-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for disorderly conduct at KFC, 20351 W. Bluemound Road, where she directed loud and profane remarks at a manager who was telling her daughter to keep busy for the last few minutes of her shift at 8:08 p.m. April 6.

Elm Grove

THEFT

17A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for stealing narcotics out of packages at the UPS Store, 12400 W. Bluemound Road, April 10. The arrest came after an investigation by the store into narcotics disappearing from packages to be sent and delivered from the hub. He was an employee.

18A Garmin GPS and about $20 in coins and bills were taken from a car in the 13000 block of Wrayburn Road overnight April 11.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

19A 29-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after he was seen going 89 mph down Bluemound Road just after 2 a.m. April 13. His BAC was 0.23. This was his fourth offense for drunken driving.

20A 56-year-old Brookfield man was arrested for drunken driving in the 13000 block of Juneau Boulevard at 6:47 a.m. April 14.
