NOW Newspapers wins 22 awards in contest
Brookfield-Elm Grove NOW claims four statewide honors
NOW Newspapers, publisher of Brookfield-Elm Grove NOW and seven other suburban weekly newspapers, was presented with 22 awards Friday at the Wisconsin Newspaper Association annual convention in Madison.
The Better Newspapers Contest recognizes the top journalism in the state. Eligible entries were published between Sept. 1, 2011, and Aug. 31, 2012.
Brookfield-Elm Grove NOW photographer Peter Zuzga won a first-place award in the Feature Photo category, designer Scott Rieser took second in the Overall Page Design and Front Page Design categories and Rieser and online editor Matt Newman took first in Web Special Project.
NOW Newspapers also won the following honors:
