Elm Grove residents gathered recently to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their public library. Controversy surrounded the idea of establishing that library. One gentleman thought each home should set up its own library. Stories of those early days were shared at the Elm Grove Woman's Club,where the anniversary dinner was held.
