A strong leader is an asset to any nonprofit agency. The Elmbrook Education Foundation has such a person in Laura Schmidt, who continually stages successful fundraisers for the Elmbrook schools. The foundation recently sponsored a casino night at the Wilson Center. The event planning committee was Beth Dobrzynski, Hope Casper, Kim Rogne, Kelly Frank, Jacquie Vraney, Jane Peavler, Erik Owen, Laura Schmidt and Amy Hodges.
Lorayne Ritt covers Waukesha County's nonprofits. Call her at (262) 542-6797, or send an email to lritt@core.com.
