Where are city's trucks repaired?
Issue: A reader wants to know where the city of Brookfield's trucks and other vehicles are repaired and if it is the same location where the Waukesha County vehicles are repaired.
Status: Tom Grisa, director of public works, told me that the majority of repairs are done onsite.
"We have our own facility at our public works building and we make most of our repairs there," Grisa said.
He added that if a repair is too complicated and the city workers are not qualified to make the repair, then the vehicle will be sent out.
