Ask NOW: How many vehicles can one home have?

Nov. 30, 2011 | 2 comments

Is there a rumor you've heard you would like to track down? Is there something in the community that needs to get fixed? Mary Malahy answers some of the mysteries of life in the Elmbrook area.

How many vehicles can be stored at one home?

Issue: A reader wants to know how many vehicles can be stored at a single-family residence. She said her neighbors have several vehicles including three or four vans, a car, a motorcycle and a trailer.

Status: Larry Goudy, zoning and building administrator, said there is no regulation that states a specific number of vehicles allowed per residence. But, the vehicles all have to be parked in a garage or on the driveway. They also have to be licensed and capable of running.
