Reader concerned for safety of students walking to school
Issue: A reader is concerned about kids walking to school safely and wants to know if there are any plans to add a sidewalk or off-road bike path on Brookfield Road between North Avenue and Brookfield Elementary School.
Status: Tom Grisa, director of public works, said the city plans to add an off-road bike path on the west side of the road from North Avenue to Riverview Drive in 2014.
