Hotel employees report prostitute

Police didn't find the prostitute that hotel personnel wanted removed from a room at the Sheraton, 375 S. Moorland Road, at 2:37 a.m. July 15, but officers did arrest a 25-year-old Milwaukee woman in the parking lot for obstructing an investigation and on a warrant.

According to the city of Brookfield police report:

Employees of the hotel contacted police about having a prostitute removed from the premises. When officers arrived, they saw a vehicle circling the parking lot. The woman was in the vehicle, but provided a false name. Police determined her true identity and found she was wanted on a warrant.

The woman admitted to dropping off someone to provide escort services, but the officers never located the prostitute.

14-year-old boy takes friends for a ride

After weaving and braking erratically in the 1000 block of Highland Drive about 9:30 p.m. July 13, a 14-year-old Brookfield boy was ticketed for driving his friends around.

According to the Elm Grove police report:

To evade police, the boy turned into a lot in the 14700 block of Watertown Plank Road and stopped. He then started to leave the lot, but stopped again. Police approached the vehicle and saw the two occupants - the boy and a 16-year-old Brookfield girl - in the front trying to switch seats. There were four occupants in the vehicle; two 14-year-old Brookfield boys were in the back seats.

Police also found alcohol in the vehicle. The girl received a citation for underage possession of alcohol and permitting an unauthorized person to drive a vehicle.

Police called the children's parents to pick them up.
