City of Brookfield police last week arrested a 41-year-old Brookfield woman who took thousands of dollars of jewelry and expensive bags from the home of her former employer.
Police on April 12 responded to a call of a burglary at a home in the 15000 block of Tulane Court after the homeowner walked in on the woman taking jewelry, purses and bags from the home. The homeowner said the woman had worked as a housekeeper at the home a number of years ago.
Police said they were able to recover most of the items.
