District 3 Alderman Jim Garvens and 7th District Alderwoman Lisa Mellone are unopposed in their bids for re-election.

Residents in the city and parts of the town will cast votes for each of the School Board's three open seats. Incumbent Glen Allgaier and Ilse Frayer will face off for a full term in the Area II seat. The top vote-getter among Beth Horneffer, Sandra Schultz, Kathryn Wilson and Bob Ziegler will be elected to a three-year, at-large term, while the candidate with the second-highest number of votes will be elected to a one-year, at-large term, serving the remainder of the term vacated by David Marcello.
In the town of Brookfield, town supervisors Patrick Stroebel and John Schatzman are uncontested for re-election. Since the town is split between the Elmbrook and Waukesha school districts, some residents will vote in the Elmbrook election and others will vote in the Waukesha election.
Tuesday's ballot also includes a court of appeals race and a circuit court election, as well as elections for Waukesha County Board races.
