Allgaier represents both students and taxpayers well

March 17, 2010 | 0 comments

Public Forum:

April 6 is Election Day, and we are urging our neighbors and area residents to join us in supporting incumbent Glen Allgaier for the Area II School Board seat.

Over the last three years, Glen has approached his service to the board without preconceived opinions or agendas. Instead, he has demonstrated a dedication to thoughtful, independent research and consideration in his decision-making.

Glen strives to constantly weigh the cost vs. the benefit when determining what is best for the children being educated by the Elmbrook schools. This, coupled with his "no taxpayer left behind" philosophy, has served our community well.

The current budget deficit has put the School District of Elmbrook at a crossroads. It is crucial that our School Board representatives understand the difference between wants and needs, and the impact their decisions will have on not only the educational services we offer, but the community as a whole. Glen Allgaier's proven ability to approach the issues in a logical and practical manner provides the exact type of experience and leadership we need to navigate through the critical decisions that must be made over the next three years.

Re-elect Glen Allgaier on April 6, so that he may continue to be the voice of what is truly best for our students, our community and our schools.
