Rotary Clubs in District 6270 raised more than $82,000 for charities in this winter's Long Journey to the Super Bowl raffle, which was sponsored by the Brookfield Rotary Club.
Forty-six Rotary clubs sold more than 10,000 tickets. The drawing was held Dec. 29 at the Western Racquet Club in Elm Grove.
The first prize of a trip for two to this year's Super Bowl was won by Christopher Painter of Hubertus. The Menomonee Falls Rotary sold the ticket.
Second prize, a trip for two to the Pro Bowl, was sold to Mike Schmitt by the New Berlin Rotary.
Third-, fourth- and fifth-place prizes included tickets to exhibition and regular-season Green Bay Packers games, as well as Green Bay Packers Monopoly games.
In the past 17 years, the annual raffle has raised more than $1.6 million for Rotary-sponsored charities in southeastern Wisconsin.
