Trick or treat being held Saturday
Fill up the plastic pumpkin - it won't be long before fairy princesses and ghostly goblins come knocking on local doors.
Trick or treat will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the city of Brookfield and the village of Elm Grove.
The town of Brookfield will hold trick or treat from 6 to 8 p.m.
Children are encouraged to carry a flashlight, glow stick or reflective bag when trick-or-treating after dark.
Parents also should make sure costumes fit properly to prevent tripping and to ensure that children see clearly, and that youngsters remain outside homes while collecting treats.
