Who's who of fashion

Oct. 20, 2009 | 0 comments

For many years, the daytime fashion show and fundraiser at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts in Brookfield has been a sellout. So this year style show Chairwoman Kathy Wilson Otto, with the assistance of Mount Mary College's Friends of Fashion, featured an evening cocktail party, live auction and runway show, plus a daytime luncheon and runway show the following day. See photos from this event.

Featured were the fashions of Donna Ricco, a New York designer who comes from Milwaukee and attended Mount Mary College, and Karen Davidson, a descendant of one of the co-founders of Harley-Davidson who designs leather clothing and also attended Mount Mary.

"If it's hot, it's here!" was the slogan describing the fashions displayed, but many attending were also fashionable. Some of those enjoying the two-day event included Sue Angle, Helen Stenborg and Delphine Taft of Hartland; Susan Holmes, Denise Haeberle, Susan Niedermeyer, Mary Myers and Debbie Carran of Elm Grove; Terry Nevins-Buchholz, Lee Ann Davies and Pat Walden of Waukesha; Shelley Watters, Kristin Kratoska and Sonia Neuberger of Pewaukee; Dawn Oertel and Jill Oertel of Muskego; Maureen Clark, Jennifer Healy, Bev Waltz and Gena Murray of Oconomowoc; Portia Downey and Faye Wetzel of Nashotah; and Sally Eickelmann, JoAnne Krause, Athena Pagedas, Sandra Casper, Kathie Koehler, Melissa Oberst, Julie Dent and Kate Bloomberg, all of Brookfield.
