A 27-year-old Waukesha woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction and carrying a concealed weapon after witnesses said they saw her doing drugs in the parking lot of a Brookfield pet store.
City of Brookfield police responded to Petco, 16095 W. Bluemound Road, at 7:43 p.m. Saturday after receiving reports of a woman using drugs in a vehicle in the store's parking lot.
According to the police report:
When officers approached the vehicle, the woman's arm and fingers were bleeding. She told officers that she was bleeding because she had just injected herself with cocaine.
A search of the vehicle yielded an uncapped syringe, pill bottles and a 3-inch folding knife.
The woman also provided several false names to police before they could discern her identity.
