The Elm Grove Business Association and Uno Chicago Grill are hosting a fundraiser to benefit Elm Grove police officer John Krahn and West Allis resident Scott Partenfelder.
The two men were injured in a train-van collision after trying to help the van's passengers - Partenfelder's family - get out of the stuck vehicle on Memorial Day. Both men were treated at Froedtert Hospital and have been released.
On June 25 and 26, Uno will donate up to 20 percent of the proceeds from dine-in or take-out orders to Krahn and Partenfelder to help offset their medical expenses. A certificate to present at the time of payment can be downloaded here.
The offer is only valid at the restaurant at 15280 W. Bluemound Road, open from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. June 25 and 11 a.m. to midnight June 26.
