Wartman is a leader, education advocate

March 24, 2009 | 0 comments

Public Forum:

Please vote for Meg Wartman for the Elmbrook School Board on Tuesday, April 7.

Meg has proven herself as a board member for the past six years. She is an effective leader and an education advocate. She understands the constraints of the district budget and the tax implications on our community. She is thoughtful in her decision making and uses sound fiscal judgment. She believes in the importance of a strong education system for the growth and strength of our community.

Most of us had the pleasure of working with Meg on the High School Facilities Steering Committee. Our group was comprised of four "no" voters and three "yes" voters of the previously failed referendum for our high schools. Her leadership and honest participation helped bring us together as a team to formulate a solution for our aging high schools that our community could support. Her involvement and dedication to this project contributed directly to its success.
