CITY OF BROOKFIELD
1A 24-year-old man was arrested on nine counts of identity theft, eight counts of theft by virtue of employment, and one count of fraudulent use of a credit card at 1:41 p.m. on July 25 at Sears, 115 S. Moorland Road. The subject, an employee of the store, was seen in video footage opening credit cards in other peoples' names, fraudulent gift cards, and giving away free merchandise.
2A 26-year-old male subject was arrested for retail theft after attempting to steal baby formula and other infant-related items from Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, at 3:47 p.m. on July 26.
3Approximately $130 worth of merchandise was stolen from Open Pantry Food Mart, 17235 W. Bluemound Road, at 6:08 p.m. on July 26 by a female subject who concealed the items in her handbag.
4A wallet and a coin purse were stolen at Panera Bread, 15040 W. Greenfield Ave., at around 8 p.m. on July 26.
5A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the Champps Americana's parking lot, 1240 S. Moorland Road, sometime between 5 p.m. on July 25 and 12:30 p.m. on July 28. The complainant was made aware of the theft when her bank called about fraudulent uses on her debit card.
6Merchandise was stolen and an employee was struck at Pac Sun, 95 N. Moorland Road, by an unknown male subject at 6:55 p.m. on July 30.
7A vehicle was stolen from a parking lot at Brookfield Square, 95 N. Moorland Road, at approximately 9:53 p.m. on July 30.
8A GPS was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 3300 block of Arroyo Road sometime between 9 p.m. on July 31 and 6 a.m. on Aug. 1.
9Credit cards and a cell phone were stolen from a locker at Xperience Fitness, 12575 W. Capitol Drive, sometime between 12 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. on Aug. 1.
10Prescription medications including morphine, hydrocodone, and valium were reported stolen from two separate residents of an apartment complex in the 17500 block of W. North Avenue. The thefts are believed to have taken place between July 25 and Aug. 1.
11Approximately $500 worth of items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at Brookfield Lutheran Church, 18500 W. Burleigh Road, sometime between 3 p.m. on July 31 and 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 1.
12One male and one female subject were cited for retail theft after attempting to steal baby formula from Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, at 4:55 p.m. on Aug. 3.
13A 36 year-old man was arrested for drunken driving at 10:57 p.m. on July 25 at W. Bluemound Road and N. Moorland Road.
14A 24-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving at 3:02 a.m. on July 28 at W. Lisbon Road and Windsor Lane. Another 24-year-old woman was taken into custody for reckless endangerment for carrying a handgun while intoxicated.
15A male subject was arrested for drunken driving at 7:56 p.m. on Aug. 1 at W. Capitol Drive and Pilgrim Road.
16A male subject was arrested for drunken driving at 12:56 a.m. on Aug. 2 at W. Capitol Drive and N. 124th Street.
17A male subject was arrested for drunken driving at 1:52 a.m. on Aug. 2 at N. Calhoun Road and W. Bluemound Road.
18A man was threatened in the 15300 block of Burleigh Road at approximately 1:30 p.m. on July 24 in connection with lawn services he obtained from Craigslist after he agreed to pay the vendor $1,200 to perform work on property and paid $600 in advance. Approximately one-third of the work was completed and workers requested the other $600. The complainant refused, at which time one of the subjects said "I have a gun." No gun was displayed, but the subject went on to say that he would be back that night.
TOWN OF BROOKFIELD
19A 26-year-old man was cited for retail theft after attempting to conceal several CDs and DVDs in his clothing at Sam's Club, 600 Springdale Road, at 3:05 p.m. on July 30.
20A 23-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving at 12:52 a.m. on July 25 in the 18700 block of Brookfield Lake Drive.
21A 28-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving at 11:29 a.m. on Aug. 1 at W. Capitol Drive and Wethersfield Road.
22A 40-year-old woman was arrested and cited for multiple traffic offenses after leading Town of Brookfield and City of Waukesha Police on a 4.5-mile chase from W. Bluemound Road and N. Janacek Road in the Town of Brookfield to E. Main Street and Greenbush Street in the city of Waukesha shortly after 10 p.m. on Aug. 3. The woman is also described as resisting arrest and committing battery against officers, although charges have not yet been filed.
VILLAGE OF ELM GROVE
23A male subject was arrested during a traffic stop for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 6:51 p.m. on July 28 in the 1100 block of Pilgrim Parkway.
24A subject was arrested for drunken driving at 1:48 p.m. on Aug. 2 at Highland Drive and Juneau Blvd.
