1A snow blower and chop saw together valued at $900 were taken from a garage on the 18300 block of Heathway Lane. The owner does not know when they were taken.
2Six vans were broken into sometime over the weekend Oct. 12-13 at 3125 Intertech Drive. Someone punched the door locks on the side cargo doors, took tools from one van, and found the other five empty.
3A woman said someone broke into her car while it was parked at Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, sometime between 10:45 and 11:45 p.m. Oct. 13. She said she was missing a gym bag that contained a $400 smartphone.
4A customer at Stein Gardens & Gifts, 14845 W. Capitol Drive, for a $15 plant but left with a $99 plant during the afternoon of Oct. 15, the store manager reported. The store has the customer's name and wishes he would return the plant but does not plan to prosecute.
5Police arrested a Milwaukee woman for loading up a shopping cart with $655 worth of items and leaving without paying for any of them around 4 p.m. Oct. 16 at Target, 12725 W. Bluemound Road. The woman was stopped on her way out the door.
6Police arrested a Milwaukee woman for retail theft around 8 p.m. Oct. 17 at TJ Maxx, 17460 W. Bluemound Road. The woman had removed tags on items inside the store, then returned the items to get a gift card that she used to buy more items, totaling $551.
7A man was seen grabbing five Michael Kors handbags totaling more than $1,000 and leaving without paying at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 18 at Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road.
8A woman concealed $196 worth of merchandise while in a dressing room at 2315 N. 124th St. at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 19. She returned the merchandise when confronted, and provided a photo ID, but fled the store before police arrived.
9The Pick 'n Save pharmacy is investigating a fraudulent prescription that was used to get oxycodone Oct. 9 at the store, 17295 W. Capitol Drive.
10After her car was rear-ended by another car, a woman got out and then was hit again when her own car rolled back at her at about 7 a.m. Oct. 14 at Interstate 94 and Moorland Road. The only injury was to the woman's foot.
11A bicyclist was hit by a car outside 20880 Enterprise Ave. around 5:20 p.m. Oct. 14. With an injured shoulder, cut leg, and nausea, the bicyclist was taken to Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare.
12A woman said her son was led by a man holding a handgun into his garage after her son pulled into the wrong driveway looking for his girlfriend's house around 10 p.m. Oct. 15 in the 1300 block of Kent Avenue. The homeowner at the wrong address allegedly said he was suspicious because of recent burglaries and asked the driver to write down his name in his garage, where he had a pen and paper. The driver's father said he will not seek further action against the homeowner.
13A resident said his car was broken into on the 16900 block of Hidden Pond Court sometime between 11 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. Oct. 20. He said the driver's window was broken but nothing was taken.
Town of Brookfield
14A Brookfield man was arrested for drunken driving at about 12:40 a.m. Oct. 16 near Watertown and Pitzka roads with a blood alcohol content of 0.11. The driver was pulled over because his left brake light seemed to be stuck on, and later admitted to drinking eight beers and two shots over four hours.
15A Waterford man was arrested for drunken driving at about 3 a.m. Oct. 16 on the 22100 block of Hillcrest Drive with a blood alcohol content of 0.177. The man was found slumped over in the driver's seat in an idling car. Officers put the car in park before waking the driver, who tried to give an officer $21 and then his cellphone when asked for his driver's license. When asked where he was coming from, he replied, "I'm not coming from anywhere; I'm right here."
16Police arrested a Brookfield man for damaging property, possessing marijuana, disorderly conduct and resisting an officer around noon Oct. 13 on the 18100 block of West Wisconsin Avenue. The man had repeatedly banged on his neighbors doors, shouting loudly. He also allegedly threatened to to find the daughter of a realtor if she didn't sell him the condo he wanted.
Village of Elm Grove
17A resident on the 2000 block of Elm Tree Court reported Oct. 16 someone had taken old coins and jewelry from the home over a period of time.
18A $280 cordless drill was taken from Ace Hardware, 15360 Watertown Plank Road, at 9 a.m. Oct. 16. Surveillance video showed one man enter the bathroom with a drill box, then make an exchange with another man. When the two men left the store, an alarm went off, but the two suspects sped away in a maroon van.
19A man called police at about 7 p.m. Oct. 16 to report that a raccoon "came after" his wife and his dog while they were walking near Nicolet Avenue and Church Street. Neither were injured.
20Police arrested a Milwaukee man Oct. 19 near the intersection of Bluemound and Moorland Roads after an officer driving behind him around 2 a.m. noticed there was a warrant for his arrest through the West Allis Police Department for retail theft. The man posted a bond of $391 and was released.
