City of Brookfield

ROBBERY

1A 41-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft and armed robbery at Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, at 7:43 p.m. Feb. 11. The woman took $160 worth of baby formula from the store. Loss prevention attempted to apprehend her when she made a motion to her pocket and said, "Don't make me pull out my gun." The woman did not have a gun and attempted to grab her cell phone from her pocket as she made the threat.

THEFT

2Jewelry worth $13,900 and sterling silver flatware worth $100 were taken from a home in the 16600 block of Cherry Hill Drive between Feb. 10 and Feb. 12. The incident was reported on Feb. 12 at 11:09 a.m. No signs of forced entry were found at the home.

3Two electric gram scales worth $725 were taken from Brookfield Central High School, 16900 Gebhardt Road, at 10:26 a.m. Feb. 11.

4A 34-year-old man was arrested for retail theft for taking $900 worth of items from REI, 13100 W. Capitol Drive, at 11:42 a.m. Feb. 11.

5A 17-year-old girl was arrested for retail theft at H&M, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 12:04 p.m. Feb. 13. The value of the items was not available.

6A bag with medication, a phone charger and "work supplies" was taken from a car parked in the 12400 block of West Capitol Drive at 6:57 p.m. Feb. 13.

7A purse containing $100, a social security card, driver's license, passport, military ID and birth certificate was taken from a running, unlocked vehicle at Kindercare, 4080 N. Calhoun Road, between 7:40 and 7:50 a.m. Feb. 14.

8Between 12 to 15 shirts worth $35 each were taken from TJ Maxx, 12575 W. Capitol Drive, at 12:57 p.m. Feb. 14. The suspects fled in a waiting vehicle.

9A 32-year-old woman was arrested for theft from her employer, TJ Maxx, 17460 W. Bluemound Road, at 3:51 p.m. Feb. 14.

10Two purses were taken from two locked cars at the Sharon Lynn Wilson Center, 19805 W. Capitol Drive, between 6:50 and 8:16 p.m. Feb. 14.

11Two men took false eye lashes and hair of undetermined value and pushed an employee down during a confrontation at Sally Beauty Supply, 16750 W. Bluemound Road, at 5:10 p.m. Feb. 15. The men fled in a waiting vehicle.

12A 35-year-old man was arrested for retail theft at Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, at 3:28 p.m. on Feb. 17. The value of the items was not available.

13A 19-year-old woman and a 35-year-old woman were arrested for retail theft at Kohl's Department Store, 2315 N. 124th Street, at 6:52 p.m. Feb. 17.

DRUG POSSESSION

14A 25-year-old man was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 18700 block of West Bluemound Road during a traffic stop at 11:49 a.m. Feb. 13.

15A 19-year-old man was arrested for possession of heroin in the 1200 block of South Sunnyslope Road at 2:18 p.m. Feb. 15.

VANDALISM

16Tires were slashed and expletives were scratched on a van parked in the 17800 block of Maple Tree Lane during the overnight hours of Feb. 15. The incident was reported at 3:51 p.m. Feb. 15.

OTHER

Police responded to five calls related to domestic disputes last week.

Town of Brookfield

THEFT

17During an arrest for retail theft in the town of Pewaukee at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 13, a 57-year-old Pewaukee man admitted to stealing four bottles of wine worth $184 from Sam's Club, 600 Springdale Road, Feb. 18. The man was then arrested by town of Brookfield police.

Village of Elm Grove

DRUNKEN DRIVING

18A 49-year-old Waukesha man was arrested for drunken driving in the 900 block of Pilgrim Parkway at 1:13 a.m. Feb. 15. The man told officers he consumed alcohol, but refused to submit a chemical test of his breath. The results of his blood test were unavailable.

OTHER

19A man attacked a 26-year-old Milwaukee man in the Sendik's parking lot, 13425 Watertown Plank Road, after the victim accidentally hit the suspect's vehicle with his car door at 12:33 p.m. Feb. 12. The suspect pulled the victim from his car and pushed him against it, not allowing him to leave. The victim was able to escape and run inside of the store. The suspect drove away in a red van.
