A Milwaukee woman was arrested for prostitution at Motel 6 in Brookfield after police noticed something familiar in the background of the woman's online profile picture.
According to the Town of Brookfield police report:
The 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for working as an escort at Motel 6, 20300 W. Bluemound Road, at 2:08 p.m. Nov. 7.
Police conducted an investigation after coming across information about escorts working in the area through an Internet site. The woman's profile image included fixtures that matched those at the hotel, prompting police to perform a sting operation.
