1A desktop computer was taken from a home in the 2400 block of Thornapple Drive between noon and 4:30 p.m. Nov. 15. A resident noticed an unlocked door when arriving home. Police have a suspect.
2Copper piping was taken from an unoccupied home in the 4100 block of Pilgrim Road before 6:07 p.m. Nov. 17.
3A 31-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for taking merchandise at Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, at 4:59 p.m. Nov. 13.
4A backpack with assorted contents valued at $75 was taken from a vehicle in the 12600 block of West Lisbon Road before 9:22 p.m. Nov. 13. Access was gained by prying a window off the vehicle.
5A 31-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for cashing a customer's check and using the funds to purchase gift cards at Target, 12725 W. Bluemound Road, at 12:03 p.m. Nov. 14. The woman was an employee at the time of the offense.
6A 21-year-old West Allis woman was arrested for taking three pairs of boots and a jacket at TJ Maxx, 17460 W. Bluemound Road, at 3:54 p.m. Nov. 14. The incident has been forwarded to the Waukesha County District Attorney's Office.
7Three garden hoses were taken from a yard in the 2400 block of Alta Louise Parkway before 3:49 p.m. Nov. 14.
8Five bottles of alcohol, a value of $170, were taken at Pick 'n Save, 17295 W. Capitol Drive, about 11:13 a.m. Nov. 15. Surveillance footage is being reviewed.
9A 67-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for taking arthritis medication at Piggly Wiggly, 2315 N. 124th St., at 1:48 p.m. Nov. 15.
10Several pairs of jeans were taken at Plato's Closet, 16750 W. Bluemound Road, about 3:08 p.m. Nov. 15.
11A 31-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for taking merchandise at Boston Store, 115 S. Moorland Road, at 3:08 p.m. Nov. 15. When approached by mall security, the man threw the merchandise at a guard and attempted to run away.
12A leather jacket and a T-shirt were taken at JCPenney at Brookfield Square, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 3:24 p.m. Nov. 15. Loss is estimated at $55.
13Two packages of human hair were taken at Sally Beauty Supply, 12455 W. Capitol Drive, at 8:20 p.m. Nov. 15. Police have a suspect.
14A customer's wallet was taken at Piggly Wiggly, 2315 N. 124th St., at 2:02 p.m. Nov. 16. Two men distracted the woman, asking her questions, and one man took the wallet from her purse.
15A customer's wallet, containing credit and identification cards, was taken from her purse at Panera, 15040 W. Greenfield Ave., at 5:18 p.m. Nov. 16. Unauthorized charges totaling $979 were subsequently made on one credit card.
16A patron's wallet was taken from her purse at the Brookfield Indoor Soccer Complex, 19485 W. Lisbon Road, about 6:58 p.m. Nov. 16.
17A cast-iron patio set valued at $450 was taken from a yard in the 17800 block of Nassau Drive before 7:32 p.m. Nov. 16.
18Construction equipment valued at $6,300 was taken from a work site near Capitol Drive and Yukon Road before 10:11 a.m. Nov. 17.
19Assorted clothing was taken at TJ Maxx, 12575 W. Capitol Drive, about 5:47 p.m. Nov. 17.
20Two 23-year-old men, both from California, were arrested for possession of marijuana in the 1200 block of South Moorland Road at 10:50 p.m. Nov. 16.
21A 48-year-old New Berlin woman was arrested for drunken driving near Bluemound Road and Main Street at 3:55 p.m. Nov. 17. A blood draw was taken to determine her blood-alcohol content. This was her fifth offense.
22A basement window was broken at a home in the 300 block of North Elmridge Avenue before 4:41 p.m. Nov. 14.
23A smiley face and circle were etched into the hood of a vehicle with a sharp object in the 2000 block of North 166th Street before 10:08 a.m. Nov. 18. Damage is estimated at $1,000.
24A 22-year-old Brookfield woman reported receipt of a note on her vehicle in the 1200 block of South Moorland Road at 7:20 p.m. Nov. 16. The note read: "You obviously can't drive because you hit my car. I have your information, and we'll settle this in court." The woman denied having damaged another vehicle and felt threatened.
25Staff at Brookside Baptist Church, 4470 Pilgrim Road, reported receipt of several calls from a woman claiming she would show graphic photos of an aborted fetus at 7:26 a.m. Nov. 18. The woman was informed if she went forward with her plan, she would be cited for trespassing.
Police made two arrests related to domestic disputes last week.
Town of Brookfield
26A 20-year-old Brown Deer man was arrested for drunken driving in the 19600 block of West Bluemound Road at 12:15 a.m. Nov. 11. His blood-alcohol content was 0.12.
27A 34-year-old Pewaukee man was arrested for drunken driving near Interstate 94 and Bluemound Road at 1:57 a.m. Nov. 17. His BAC was 0.16. The man was initially pulled over for driving erratically.
28Five vehicles were scratched with a sharp object at Hall Mazda, 19809 W. Bluemound Road, before 2:16 p.m. Nov. 16. Damage is estimated at $2,000.
Police received a call at 3:57 p.m. Nov. 14 from a 63-year-old Grand Rapids, Minn., woman who suspected fraudulent activity at a home in the town. The woman attempted to purchase a $40,000 motor home through Craigslist.
29A 30-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for possession of a glass pipe in the 20300 block of West Bluemound Road at 9:44 p.m. Nov. 15. The pipe had burned residue in it.
Village of Elm Grove
30A 35-year-old woman and 29-year-old woman, both of Milwaukee, were arrested for taking numerous sundry items, including shaving gel, at Walgreens, 15350 W. Bluemound Road, at 3:04 p.m. Nov. 13.
31A 23-year-old Greenfield man was arrested for signing and presenting forged checks at Town Bank, 13150 Watertown Plank Road, at 3:08 p.m. Nov. 16.
Police made one arrest related to a domestic dispute last week.
