City of Brookfield

THEFT

1A smartphone was taken from an unlocked car at Camelot Park, 1800 N. 166th St. The report was made June 6. Loss is estimated at $200.

2Three catalytic converters were taken from business trucks parked at City Lights and Fan, 13300 W. Capitol Drive, the night of June 6. Surveillance tapes are being reviewed to see if suspects can be developed.

3A man stole an unknown amount of merchandise from TJ Maxx, 12575 W. Capitol Drive, at 11:24 a.m. June 7. The man walked in with a duffel bag and left with a TJ Maxx bag full of clothes.

4Two boys, ages 8 and 9, were caught stealing toys from Walgreens, 15650 W. Greenfield Ave., at 5:39 p.m. June 8. The boys were released into their parent's custody.

5A Trek bicycle was stolen from a vehicle's bike rack at St. John Vianney Church, 17500 Gebhardt Road, at 10:32 p.m. June 8.

6Two women stole purses from Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, at 12:22 p.m. June 9. The women simply picked up the purses and walked out.

7A catalytic converter was stolen from a delivery truck at Podany's, 13440 W. Capitol Drive, the night of June 11. Police believe the case may be related to a similar case June 6.

8An employee at Great Lakes Dermatology, 18200 W. Capitol Drive, was accused of stealing Botox and injecting her sister over a period of time. A report was made June 11 and the case is under review.

9Two men, ages 20 and 25, were arrested for stealing from Aldo, 95 N. Moorland Road, about 2 p.m. June 11. The 20-year-old man was arrested for stealing earrings from the store. After the 25-year-old fled from police, he was arrested for marijuana possession and resisting arrest.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

10A 26-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, on Sunnyslope Road and Greenfield Avenue about 7 p.m. June 7. In addition, he was cited for having open intoxicants in the car.

11A 30-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving after he was found in the Tri City National Bank parking lot, 17100 W. Bluemound Road, struggling to function at 5:16 p.m. June 8.

12A 22-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving at Moorland Road and Greenfield Avenue at 12:28 a.m. June 10. After a search of the car, he also was cited for illegal concealed carry of a weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia.

13A 21-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving at Fresh Market, 15895 W. Bluemound Road, about 2:30 a.m. June 10.

BURGLARY

14Two laptops were taken from a home in the 4000 block of North 128th Street on June 7.

Town of Brookfield

OTHER

15A 41-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for obstructing a police officer during a traffic stop in the 100 block of South Barker Road at 9:38 a.m. June 8. She showed police false identification.

Elm Grove

DRUNKEN DRIVING

16A 54-year-old Stone Mountain, Ga., man was arrested for drunken driving after being stopped for speeding at Watertown Plank Road and Elm Grove Street at 2:45 a.m. June 9. His blood-alcohol content was 0.10.

17A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested after crashing his car during a high-speed pursuit involving Brookfield and Elm Grove police. The pursuit started after midnight June 10, and ended with the driver crashing near Westover Road and Pilgrim Parkway. The driver's BAC was 0.22. Wauwatosa police believe the driver had been involved in a hit-and-run accident in Wauwatosa earlier that evening.
