Friends of Fairview South presents Monte Carlo Night

The Friends of Fairview South will hold its Monte Carlo Night fundraiser from 7 to 11 p.m. April 2 at St. Mary's Visitation School, 13000 Juneau Blvd., Elm Grove.

Attendees will be able to play blackjack, roulette, Texas hold 'em and more.

Tickets cost $25; the price includes appetizers, desserts, a cash bar, a raffle and prizes. Attendees must be 21 or older.

Hillside Hawk Walk/Run scheduled for May 29

The fourth annual Hillside Hawk Walk/Run will take place May 29 at Mitchell Park, 19900 River Road, Brookfield.

The professionally timed run is 3.1 miles; the walk is 2.5 miles.

Registration is $12 per individual or $45 per family of five or more. After May 1, registration is $15 per individual or $50 per family. All participants will receive a Hawk Walk/Run T-shirt and coupons to local businesses. The event also features live entertainment, children's activities, door prizes and a mascot race.

Last year's event raised $8,500 for Hillside.
