No such thing as a free lunch at Hooters

Sept. 7, 2010 | 6 comments

A transient who tried to get a free lunch at Hooters, 17105 W. Bluemound Road, by feigning a heart attack was told not to return to the restaurant, according to Brookfield police.

According to police reports:

The man enjoyed potato salad for lunch before he told management he was lethargic and felt pain in his chest. An ambulance was called for the man, however, management told police he has a history of faking illness to get out of paying the bill.

He was transported to Froedtert Medical Center - after he was told not to return to the restaurant.

  1. Elizabeth! Ohhh. Here comes the big one! I'm comin!
  2. He was once big on Broadway!

Love how these first few comments are simply angry and appauled.

Typical Brookfield selfishness. Don't you wonder what his story is?

And ACORN? You goof! The video turned out to be a complete sham. And the maker of it- a criminal.
  3. Great. Taxpayers get to spend $500 on an ambulance bill and thousands on a hospital visit for this piece of $h!7 over a $10 meal.
  4. Sounds like new tactic developement for ACORN
  5. Maybe he didn't know about the "scenery" inside Hooters and that caused his heart attack.
  6. he didnt get arrested. he didnt pay the bill. he wont even have to pay for the ambulance, emergency room visit, or even the dinner he got in the hospital.

so i guess there is free lunch... everywhere.
