Brookfield man offers to have sex with new neighbor - for a price

Aug. 30, 2010 | 17 comments

A Brookfield man who offered a neighbor companionship and sex for hire received instead a stern warning from police to leave the woman alone.

A 25-year-old woman in the 1100 block of Links Court reported Aug. 26 that her neighbor, a 19-year-old man, left a letter under her door stating that he was interested in starting a relationship with her, and that he would accept money in exchange for sex, according to Brookfield police.

Officers warned the man to not contact the woman again, and no citations were issued, police said.

  1. It sounds as tough he just got out of diapers and his Moma did not teach him manners
  2. I am glad that some law enforcement officers use common sense. Not all incidents need prosecution. A simple warning by police officers is sometimes all people need to get back on the straight and narrow. I feel we live in a society that, upon any screw up, the rest of us swoop down. The problem is most of us will screw up in life. There are times where we need to punish and many other times we just need to gently remind.
  3. I think he should get a ticket for stupidity for putting his prostitution offer in writing. Too funny....
  4. Hey Horne... how about banning all these other people for their "Horribly insensitive comments." I guess we were all able to get a chuckle while you want to play the "rape victim" card.

    Lighten up
  5. maybe it was just a misunderstanding. maybe he was a plumber and asked if she wanted her pipes cleaned.
  6. This woman must be a real beast if this dope thinks she has to pay for it, or he's just an egotistical crumb (like our Prez and Brent Faver) who thinks he's God's gift to women.
  7. WOW! All I got was a basket of fruit when I moved to my new neighborhood.
  8. LOL...do it the old fashioned way next time...buy her dinner...or at least a beer!
  9. Aw, give the guy some credit. Prostitution IS the oldest profession, and in this soft economy - any job is a good job. I give the young fella an "A" for effort. Way to go, champ!
  10. Gotta admire his confidence, if not his judgment.
