'Horse' rider asked to keep his hobby out of mall

Aug. 23, 2010 | 0 comments

The Brookfield Square food court may have seemed like the set of a Monty Python flick Aug. 22 when a man came galloping through the Brookfield Square food court on a toy horse, making strange noises while petting a stuffed dragon.

According to the city of Brookfield police report:

Officers responding to reports of a man acting suspiciously at Brookfield Square Mall, 95 N. Moorland Road, just before 2 p.m. Aug. 22, found the man galloping around the food court on a broom stick with a stuffed horse head attached to it. The man said he sometimes reverts back to age 2 and is seeking counseling.

He was released without a citation and was told to refrain from riding his horse in the mall.
