Jessie Wangerin and Evan Leahy are planning an Oct. 5, 2012, wedding in South Shore Park in Milwaukee.
Parents of the couple are Maggie Dermody and Dan Wangerin, both of West Bend, and Tom and Laurie Leahy of Elm Grove.
The bride-to-be is a science teacher at Whitefish Bay Middle School.
The future groom is a musician with the groups Leahy's Luck and The Evan and Tom Leahy Band and is a server at Louise's Restaurant.
