Dousman Stagecoach Inn Museum open for summer
Dousman Stagecoach Inn Museum, 1075 Pilgrim Parkway in Brookfield, is now open from 1 to 4 p.m. the first and third Sundays of each month through October.
Visitors can tour the 1840s inn and learn about life in the 1800s, as well as view a display of Civil War era newspapers and historic photos from towns in Waukesha County.

"Diabetes: What You Need To Know" is slated for 6:30 p.m. June 12 at the Brookfield Public Library, 1900 N. Calhoun Road.

Hear great ideas for vacationing in your own hometown at the free program "Stay-cations in the Brookfield Area" at 10 a.m. June 12 or 7 p.m. June 20 at the Brookfield Public Library, 1900 N. Calhoun Road.

Red Cross hosts blood drive in Brookfield
A blood drive is slated for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 13 at Herzing University, 555 S. Executive Drive.
Call (800) 733-2767 or visit redcrossblood.org to make an appointment or for information. All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver's license, or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age, weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood.
Brookfield Public Library hosts Craft Saturday
All children are invited to Craft Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. June 16 at the Brookfield Public Library, 1900 N. Calhoun Road.
The library will provide supplies so participants to create a seasonal craft.

Free appraisal fair kicks off reading program
A Patchwork Antiques Appraisal Fair is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 29 at the Brookfield Public Library, 1900 N. Calhoun Road.
The event is free and will kick off the library's Between the Covers Adult Summer Reading Program. Certified appraiser Barbara J. Eash will appraise and provide historical context for treasured heirlooms. Participants are allowed one item appraisal, and registration is required.

Estate planning workshop to be offered in July
