Sarah Roach and Kevin Willey of Golden Valley, Minn., were married July 23, 2011, at Valley Community Presbyterian Church in Golden Valley.
Parents of the bride are Donald and Ann Roach of Brookfield. The groom's parents are Bob Willey and LaNee Victorsen-Willey of Maple Grove, Minn.
The Rev. James Rand officiated the ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Golden Valley Country Club.
The bride carried a bouquet of mixed yellow flowers and succulents.
Emily Roach of Brookfield, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sonja Moe, Dagney Willey and Berit Nelson of St. Paul and Stephanie Gaston and Molly Gulsvig of Minneapolis.
Wade Pierce of Edina, Minn., friend of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Brian Roach of Brookfield, Max Bahr of Rochester, Minn., Derek Schnell of Shoreview, Minn., and Dustin Braun of Woodbury, Minn.
The bride graduated from Brookfield Central High School, earned her bachelor's degree from St. Olaf College and earned her master's degree in public health from the University of Minnesota. She is employed in clinical research at Medtronic.
The groom graduated from Osseo Senior High School, earned his bachelor's degree from St. John's University and earned his master's degree in education from Bethel University. He is a teacher and hockey coach at Osseo Senior High School.
The couple planned a one-week honeymoon at Anse Chastenet in St. Lucia.
The two met in January 2008 and were engaged in September 2010.
