Oct. 19, 2011 | 0 comments

Anne Elizabeth Krill and Richard Bruce Davidson Jr. of Chicago were married Aug. 20, 2011, at Old St. Mary Parish in Milwaukee.

Parents of the bride are William and Char Krill of Nashotah, formerly of Brookfield. The groom's parents are Richard and Kathy Davidson of Poland, Ohio.

The Rev. Tim Kitzke officiated the noon ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Hilton City Center.

The bride wore an alabaster satin gown with a grand medallion beaded motif at the center and a sweeping asymmetrical train. She carried a nosegay bouquet of ivory calla lilies, roses and orchids.

Megan Krill Seefeldt of Boston, Mass., sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Hosmer of Cincinnati, Ohio, sister of the groom, and friends Kathryn Bosch of New Berlin and Agnes Estes and Brea Erickson of Chicago.

Nicholas Hosmer of Cincinnati, brother-in-law of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Jason Seefeldt of Boston, brother-in-law of the bride, and friends Michael Salinsky and Kevin Brickman of Cleveland, Ohio, and Sam DeGennaro of Warren, Ohio.

The bride earned her master's degree in marketing from Northwestern University and her bachelor's degree in journalism-strategic communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She was a four-year member of the UW Dance Team, accepted as the first college freshman in the teams' history, and attended both the 1999 and 2000 Rose Bowls. She is also an alumni member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority. She is a marketing communications team manager of optionsXpress, an affiliate company of Charles Schwab Corp.

The groom earned his master's degree in finance at the University of Chicago and his bachelor's degree in finance and economics from John Carroll University. He graduated first in his class at the University of Chicago. He is a vice president for GE Antares Capital.

The couple honeymooned in France and Italy for two weeks.

The couple became engaged Dec. 4, 2010, on their 18-month anniversary in Naples, Florida. The bride was surprised over dinner at La Playa, a resort on the Gulf of Mexico, when the groom asked for her hand in marriage over a storybook documenting their first months of dating. The couple met in Chicago in June 2009.
