The following graduates from Brookfield earned bachelor's degrees, or other degrees as noted, from the University of Iowa in May: Robert Ambrookian, finance, accounting; Kara Gleason, political science; Elizabeth Jach, master's degree in educational policy and leadership studies; Hannah Kramer, journalism and mass communication, English; and Sarah Mueller, management, marketing.

Laura Lawonn of Brookfield earned her bachelor's degree in English cum laude from Carthage College in Kenosha in May.

Julie Shiely of Brookfield earned her bachelor's degree cum laude in music from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, in May.

Danielle Osland of Brookfield earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in May.

Cory Windorff of Brookfield earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in May.

Nicole Hauser of Brookfield earned her bachelor's degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, in May.

Lauren Gehl and Carolyn Wolff of Brookfield earned Freshman Honor scholarships for the 2012-13 academic year from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Brenda Rohde of Brookfield, a computer science major at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, earned a $2,000 Merit Scholarship from the College of Science and Engineering. She is website director for the UM branch of the Society of Women Engineers and is working an internship with Maverick Software Consulting in Minneapolis.
