Michael Beining, Madeleine LeClaire and Emily Patti of Brookfield made the fall semester dean's list at Carroll University in Waukesha.

Simone Dietzler of Brookfield made the fall semester dean's list at Carthage College in Kenosha.

Samantha Eberle of Elm Grove served as the stage manager in a production of Tom Stoppard's "Arcadia" at the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas, in late March.

Lucy Shirley of Brookfield, a senior at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, attended the Student Initiatives in Sustainable Agriculture conference at Lawrence University in Appleton from March 31 to April 1. SISA is a national event that brings together current and recent college students dedicated to sustainable gardening and farming initiatives.

Catherine Gaggioli of Brookfield, a history major at Carroll University in Waukesha, earned a Pioneer Scholars grant for summer 2012. She will work abroad with Scott Hendrix, assistant professor of history, on a project titled "Popular Resistance, Popular Participation: Rioting in Seventeenth Century England."

Maura Atwood of Brookfield performed as Dion in the First Stage Young Company production of William Shakespeare's "The Winter Tale" in Milwaukee in early March.

Cadet Airman Andrew Parr of Brookfield, flag bearer with the Timmerman Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol based at Timmerman Airport, was part of the color guard team that took first place overall in the annual Wisconsin Wing Civil Air Patrol Cadet Competition held at the West Bend National Guard Armory. The team advances to the 2012 Great Lakes Region Competition to be held at the Illinois Military Academy in Springfield in April.
