Emily Louise Bourdo and Michael Dennis Griep are planning an Oct. 5, 2013, wedding at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Muskego.

Parents of the couple are John and Crystal Bourdo of Muskego and Gregory and Denise Griep of Brookfield.

The bride-to-be is studying dental hygiene at Waukesha County Technical College. She is a child care assistant at St. Paul Muskego Extended Care.

The future groom studied architectural drafting at WCTC. He is serving in the U.S. Army, 11 Bravo Airborne Infantry.

The couple became engaged July 2, 2011, at Roots Restaurant and Cellar.
