Katherine Michuda and Christopher Rogers, both of Wauwatosa, were married Sept. 12, 2009, at Christ King Catholic Church in Wauwatosa.

Parents of the bride are Mike and Kathy Michuda of Brookfield. Parents of the groom are Mark and Colleen Rogers of Brookfield.

The Rev. Bob Marsicek officiated the 12 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at Golden Mast in Okauchee.

The bride wore a taffeta gown with a bow and a brooch. She carried a bouquet of hydrangeas, gerbera daisies, orchids and roses.

Maid of honor was Lindsay Michuda of Brookfield, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Laura Culhane of Brookfield, Anne Ioder of Milwaukee, Kimberly Arbinger of Wind Lake, Maggie Suminski of Shorewood, Gina Rosen of Los Angeles, Anne Daleclay of Milwaukee and Tiffany Rogers of Brookfield.

Best man was Mark Rogers of Blacksburg, Va., brother of the groom.

Groomsmen were Michael Rogers of Confier, Colo., Danny Michuda of Brookfield, Tommy Michuda of Brookfield, Dustin Reineke of Orlando, Fla., Adam Valentine of Brookfield, Jim Nau of Wauwatosa and Joseph Sandler of San Francisco.

Flower girl was Keagan Rogers of Blacksburg, Va., niece of the groom.

Ring bearer was Connor Rogers of Blacksburg, Va., nephew of the groom.

The bride earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science and doctorate of physical therapy at Marquette University.

The groom earned his bachelor's degree in health fitness and kinesiology and master's degree in physical therapy.

The bride and groom are physical therapists at Health Reach Rehabilitation Services.

The couple grew up playing soccer and met while coaching soccer camps. The groom played at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. The bride coaches Brookfield's U-15 select girls team.

The groom proposed on Sweetest Day during a candlelit breakfast picnic at Klode Park as the sun rose over Lake Michigan.

The couple will honeymoon in Moorea and Tahiti for two weeks. They reside in Wauwatosa.
