Mairin Elizabeth Ocheltree and Scott Ryan Manson were married Nov. 21, 2009, at St. Francis Xavier College Church in St. Louis.

Parents of the bride are Thomas and Susan Ocheltree of Bloomington, Ill. Parents of the groom are Lowry and Donna Manson of Brookfield.

The Rev. Richard Buehler officiated the 7 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Missouri Athletic Club in St. Louis.

The bride wore strapless, Marisa mermaid silhouette gown in ivory dupioni silk featuring a ruched bodice with an asymmetrical semi-cathedral length train. She carried a cascade bouquet of cream roses, white oriental lilies, stephanotis and white mini callas

Maid of honor was Jennifer Nelson of Charleston, S.C., friend of bride. Bridesmaids were Jeanne Lydon of Marshall; Elizabeth Shea of Andover, Mass.; Sarah Stock of Boston; Mary Elizabeth Linden of Cincinnati; Patricia Girzadas of Hinsdale, Ill.; Jennifer Smith of Oak Park, Ill.; Amy Fields of St. Louis; Cari Curtis of St. Louis and Sandra Cirrito of St. Louis.

Best man was Brian Manson of Winter Park, Fla., brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Arnoush Javaherian of Chicago; Gregory Wallace of Chicago; Thomas Ocheltree Jr. of Bloomington, Ill.; Nathan Fields of St. Louis; David Curtis of St. Louis and John Cirrito of St. Louis.

Flower girl was Caroline Stephens of Columbia, Mo., daughter of friend of the bride.

The bride earned her bachelor's degree in English from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind., in 1996, and her master's degrees in business administration and human resources management from Washington University in St. Louis in 2004. She is the compensation and benefits manager at Energizer Holdings in St. Louis.

The groom, a 1995 graduate of Brookfield Central High School, earned his bachelor's degree in cell and structural biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1999 and his doctorate in molecular and cell biology from Washington University in St. Louis in 2007. He is a research associate at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

The groom proposed to the bride at the restaurant where they had their first date, presenting her with an engagement ring containing the diamond from his great-grandmother's engagement ring.

The couple honeymooned in Italy for two weeks.

They reside in St. Louis.
