Lisa Marie Bosnjak and Ryan Joseph Joerres, both of Pewaukee, are planning an Oct. 2, 2010, wedding at Christ King Catholic Church in Wauwatosa.

Parents of the engaged couple are Zeljko and Mary Bosnjak of Brookfield and Tom and Jodi Joerres of Oconomowoc.

The bride-to-be earned her doctorate degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She is a pediatric resident at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

The future groom is a microbiologist who is pursuing his master's degree in public health.
