Erin Schwarz and James Jodie Jr. were married Aug. 8, 2009, at Quivey's Grove in Fitchburg.

Parents of the bride are Ronald and Maureen Schwarz of Middleton. Parents of the groom are James and Angelina Jodie of Elm Grove.

The Rev. Joan Pape officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at Quivey's Grove.

The bride wore a Grecian-inspired natural white chiffon satin gown with a knee length circle skirt. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of red roses.

Matron of honor was Casey Harrod of Verona, sister of the bride.

Best man was James Jodie Sr. of Elm Grove, father of the groom.

Usher was Max Jankovich, nephew of the groom.

Flower girls were Kathleen and Josie Jankovich, nieces of the groom.

The bride, who earned her master's degree in speech pathology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is a speech pathologist in the School District of Cudahy.

The groom, who earned his bachelor's degree in communication from UW-Madison, is a freelance copywriter in Milwaukee.

The couple met in Madison and reunited years later at The Black Beetle in Chicago. After dating for two years, the couple became engaged at The Black Beetle.

The couple honeymooned in Zihuatanejo, Patzcuaro and Janitzio, Mexico, for 10 days.

They reside in St. Francis.
