Lauren Kolter and David Bluml were married May 30, 2009, at Brookfield Christian Reformed Church.

Parents of the bride are Steven and Nancy Kolter of Elm Grove. Parents of the groom are Steven and Jacqueline Bluml of Coon Rapids, Minn.

After the 3 p.m. ceremony, the wedding party departed via trolley for champagne, hors d'oeuvres and photos at the Elm Grove Park. A reception followed at the Elm Grove Woman's Club.

The bride wore a strapless, lace Oleg Cassini gown with an embellished bodice and satin sash. She carried a bouquet of white flowers, comprised of roses, iris and lily of the valley.

Attendants and readers during the ceremony included Bradley and Anne Bluml, brother and sister-in-law of the groom; Elisabeth Jungmann, friend of the bride; Megan and Tyler Bluml, siblings of the groom; and Paul Kolter, brother of the bride.

The bride, who earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Minnesota in 2009, is a registered nurse working as a program counselor for ACR Homes.

The groom, who earned his bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Minnesota in 2006, is a systems administrator for Kroll Ontrack.

The couple honeymooned for one week in Riviera Cancun, Mexico.

They reside in Minneapolis.
