Sarah Goodchild and Chad Martin were married May 2, 2009, at First Baptist Church in Le Mars, Iowa.

Parents of the bride are Clark and Jolynn Goodchild, Le Mars. Parents of the groom are Dan and Jan Martin, Brookfield.

The Rev. Larry Adler officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at Willow Creek Golf Club, Le Mars.

Maid of honor was Amber Goodchild, Denver, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Melissa Fogltanz, Pewaukee; Kirby Neill, Des Moines, Iowa; Hayley Rezai, Cedar Falls, Iowa; and Alexis Jacobsen, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Best man was Adam Fogltanz, Pewaukee, brother-in-law of the groom. Groomsmen were Mike McAleavey, New Jersey; Ryan Taggatz, Phoenix; Jason Ortner, Pittsville; and Duncan Kasukonis, Madison.

Flower girl was Nalani Komar of Vernon. Ring bearers were Collin Barsch of Hartland and Kaleb Koerselman of Le Mars.

The bride earned her bachelor's degree in human resource management from the University of Northern Iowa. She is a financial specialist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

The groom earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He is a sales consultant at Gustave A. Larson, Madison.

The couple honeymooned for one week in Rivera Maya. They reside in Fitchburg.
