Laura Mallwitz of Milwaukee, formerly of Brookfield, and Martin Brukwicki of Milwaukee, formerly of Monroe, are planning an Aug. 29, 2009, wedding at St. Hedwig, Milwaukee.

Parents of the engaged couple are Michael and Karen Mallwitz, Brookfield, and Michael and Elaine Brukwicki, Monroe.

The bride-to-be, a 2000 graduate of Brookfield East High School, earned her degree in marketing and general business from Concordia University. She is an executive agent at Healthcare Solutions, Glendale.

The future groom earned his degree in business management at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He is business development manager at Advanced Pain Management, Racine.

The couple became engaged on Nov. 7, 2008, in Salt Lake City.
