Dale Carter Davis

Dale Carter Davis of Brookfield died May 22, 2009, at age 71.

He was a retired research and development design engineer for Nordberg for more than 36 years. He designed equipment for the mining industry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Reserves stationed in the United States and in Germany.

He enjoyed traveling, sailing, working with his hands and relaxing at his lake home, spending time with family and entertaining his grandchildren.

He is survived by his mother, Pauline (nee Carter); wife and "coffee buddy," Patricia Schutten; sons, Michael (Deena) and Scott (Jenel); stepson, Cal "Kevin" (Mary Anne Harry) Kothrade; stepdaughters, Kathryn (Paul) Riederer and Melissa Schutten; grandchildren, Alexander, Ciarra, Kelsey, Ethan, Nolan, Cole, Maxwell and Kinsey; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Dale; wife, Barbara Jean (nee Jahrmann); and son, Donald.

Service was May 29 at Chapel of the Chimes in Wisconsin Memorial Park. Private family interment was held.

The family thanks the staff at Froedtert Hospital 4NW.
