• The following students graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in May 2009: Ian Crombie, Joshua Kilvinger, Amy Schmitz and Daniel Wendt, all of Brookfield.
• Adam Rieves of Brookfield earned a University Book Store Academic Excellence Award from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received $1,000 for showing excellence by completing a project through independent study.
• Paul Roesler, a 2000 graduate of Brookfield East, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Law on May 15.
• Jessica Louie, a 2006 honors graduate of Brookfield Central High School, graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California with a bachelor's degree in biological sciences in May. She will be pursuing her doctorate of pharmacy at USC this fall.
• Tyler Michalak of Brookfield graduated cum laude from Louisiana Tech on May 23 with a bachelor's degree in nanosystems engineering.
