Leon H. Storm
Leon H. Storm died May 22, 2009, at age 90.
He served during World War II in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a captain. Upon returning from the war, he graduated from Marquette University with a business degree, opening the door to his and his family's future in the golf industry.
In 1952, he purchased and developed his first property on Bluemound Road to launch Storm's Driving Range and Miniature Golf Course, which is an icon throughout Brookfield and surrounding areas. His passion was to create places for others to relax and enjoy the game of golf.
He is survived by his children, Jack, Linda (Jim) Stilosk and Laura (Tim) Sullivan; grandchildren, Alison, Amy and Dustin; siblings, Elsie Goldsby and William Storm; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita.
Per his wishes, there will not be any services.
Church & Chapel Funeral Services handled the arrangements.
